Everything what??

Weren’t you just thinking that winter was over?  All those beautiful, warm sunny days, cute little yellow crocuses popping up everywhere… and suddenly BIG snow flakes start falling out of the sky and actually collecting on the ground outside… yikes, I thought that groundhog guy said winter was over?? Well over or not, we’re coming out of hibernation with a new initiative that we’ve been incubating over the past few months.

Today, we’re launching Everything Sunshine Coast, a logical next step to all the e-letters that we’ve been sending out to our B&B guests, every month for the last seven years.  We think a blog will enable us to respond more quickly to what’s happening here, and we know there’s an audience that’s interested in timely, insider information on the Sunshine Coast.

Like our e-letter, we’ll continue to provide information about Everything  Sunshine Coast – restaurants where we’ve eaten and actually go back;  upcoming festivals and events and when & where to get tickets;  our favourite places for an afternoon hike… all that good stuff that will help you have a better experience when you next visit the Sunshine Coast.  That’s what we’ve been doing since we first opened our B&B, and it’s one of the appreciative comments we keep hearing from our guests.

But we have to tell the truth – it’s really just a labour of love, since we get to research and experience all those great experiences ourselves, in order to write meaningfully about them.  We’ve been doing this for the last 35 years that we’ve lived here, and this blog is a great excuse for us to continue experiencing all the great things that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

We also love the challenge of taking better and better pictures and we’ve got lots of great opportunities for that on the Sunshine Coast – a picture is worth a thousand words – so for all you speed readers, we’ll include a few pictures of this great place we get to call home. Like this one, taken early one morning just a few weeks ago from the sea wall in front of Sechelt.

We hope you’ll find our postings helpful and we invite you to return for timely information on Everything Sunshine Coast
